Which Ford models have the Ford 6000 CD?

There are two families of 6000 CD. The first 6000 CD (about 1998–2004) with the rounded fascia sits in the Focus Mk1, Mondeo Mk3, Fiesta Mk6, Puma and Cougar and usually has an M-series serial. The later 6000 CD (2004–2012) with the rectangular display and RDS logo is found in the Fiesta Mk6/Mk7, Focus Mk2, Transit Mk7 and Transit Connect, Mondeo Mk4, C-Max, S-Max, Galaxy, Fusion and Ka, and carries a V-series serial. Both types are supported; the code entry procedure is identical.

Serial number does not start with M or V?

Then your radio uses a different security system and this generator cannot calculate its code. Fords with a SYNC touchscreen (roughly 2015 onward) do not use a radio code at all: the unit is paired to the car and unlocks by itself after a battery change.
